Enhancing Education's Homeschool Fair

In 2006 I found I was pregnant; after 7 years of trying we were adding to our family! During that time I was completing my Master of Divinity while working on a Master Patient Counseling which required I volunteer as a Chaplain. With great excitement i waddled through the halls excited about what my future held. I remember telling my professors how i would be able to return after the birth of our son and complete the 2nd degree. In my mind, the sky was the limit of all the things I could do, I'd have the baby, start him in day care and prepare him for our local public school. However, after having my son I looked into his eye and I knew, I would not be able to pass him off to a daycare, and in my heart I was convinced traditional school settings would not be the route we took. So, with my one Master's complete I decided to forgo the 2nd degree and complete the certification program instead and I began the work preparing for homeschooling. That was over 10 years ago, amid the ups and downs, the doubts and accomplishments I'm secure knowing homeschooling is what's right for our family. As our family grew, so to did my knowledge and experience. So much so, I'm constantly asked to mentor, and train others That's why I am delighted to share my experiences......
